Hi Bloggie~
While most people are perk up for the festival mood, I... had to slog and work doubly hard at work to ensure that your journey will remain smooth on that day with 60++ services to check. *looks at the work she brought home*
Let's pray... but well, at least i have finish my targeted work ahead of my schedule thanks to some help from my colleagues.
As a reward for reaching my targeted goal, I have travel to an aquarium shop especially to buy myself a pet. Actually, that's my sole motivation for the whole week to keep me working while enduring that pestering headache that keeps occurring at noon for the past 3 days. Hope that a good sleep today can cure it.
If you are wondering.... if that two shrimps are my new pet? Sorry! My pet is that round greenish thing which appear to look very dark due to the poor lighting. Yes, this is marimo aka Cladophora aegagropila, which is plainly a ball of algae that grows in the lake myvatn in iceland or lake akan in japan. Not sure which one did this originated from...
Bought that 2 shrimps to help me trim the ball and to facilitate some water movement. You can't be expecting the ball to move if it's just algae. And it helps to make it looks more lively..
So total spending, $4 for the ball, $2 for both shrimps, and $2 for the glass bottle. Now I just need to change the water weekly to ensure it survives. That's easier then keeping a plant in my room, and now i have something to look at to rest my eyes after staring at my monitor for too long.
Actually, i had a smaller marimo from japan which i bought from strapya.
All the items in the lucky bag. With my fav baketan and that can opener thingy... and a cat paw that nyaa~

Geez, if i only know that we can actually buy this in local aquarium.. but well, it still looks cute. And I'm happy looking at both marimo which i'll figure out a name for them..
