It's been 2 weeks since my previous GM resigned and left the company. Another colleague has just tendered her resignation. There's been alot of changes within the company.
1) A lot of bad mouthing on my previous GM by my boss. Of course, 99% of the words said by cannot be trusted, based on my understanding on both of them, especially when he saying that my ex-GM is using company's fund for her school fee and other things. I knew her personally, and if she went thr the trouble of comparing so many vendor to get the cheapest school fee, there's no reason why should she do that if she's using company fund to pay. Furthermore, when do you get a GM who's handling HR/Finance/Administrative duties and running the whole company well and achieving a few million sales for nearly 5 years and is forever trying to cut cost even on her own expenses. Did I mentioned that she's earning only 6k.
2) The mistress aka new GM claims that she wants speak to my boss to increase my pay and get more benefits for us which I double check with my China counterparts. Proved, it's all lies. That's what she told them when she "took over" the GM there, and instead of better, their benefits got worse. And she actually fired some of them, or I will say.. she threw them with alot of unreasonable policy forcing them to resign. I guess that's what they are trying to do here, but it just happen that they can't have all of us leaving at the same time. The new GM doesn't understand English. ROFL.
3) An example of my boss's standard behaviour: The last time my boss promised my colleague about pay increment last Dec, he never fulfill it after my colleague rejected another job offer. LOL. Poor colleague, now he's stuck here, grumping.
4) The new Admin and Finance Manager denial the MC entitlement for one of my colleague. Reason: She's been working 25 days short of a year during the end of last finance term. So she's not entitled. Our previous arrangement for this scenario is that the MC is brought forward to next year. She claims that she needs to compare employee who joined the company around the same date as she does. WTF?
So, when we approach her with information we obtain from another staff. She claims that his case is special because he re-joined the company. We only have 3 staffs who joined in the company during the past 2 years.
5) My ex-GM knew about the bad mouthing, so she threaten to report to police. My boss called back to office and inform my manager that the ex-GM is threatening him. Told us to cut off all contact with her. Haha.. if he's not in the wrong, shouldn't he be the one who's threatening to report to police? Why worried about us clarifying the details with her?
6) There's alot of undertable things happening.. shall not touch on this one.
7) Yesterday, my boss announced that some of the benefits are entitled only if we hit 6million (which never happen in history and is a totally unreasonable target during times of recession, of course not to mentioned that he didn't indicate if it's 6m of profit or sales.) Based on his previous records, even words he did said cannot be trusted too.
8) Just got called into my boss room and gotten a promotion and an increment. LOL. For additional $200, now I'm expected to do alot of shitty work.
