Basic Materials needed.. 1) Used Book (Bought a second hand hardcover book at $2. It's easier than making it myself.) 2) Fabric for coverwrap 3) The "wordings" that i intend to paste on the cover. 4) Paper for the interior pages (Depending how thick you want it to be)
Additional items 1) Scissor 2) Needle and Thread 3) White Glue 4) Ruler 5) Lots of paper (To test print the alightment and to wrap the book)
A rough guide of the materials
Removing the pages..
The hardcover
Wrapping the book with white paper. (Require if the fabric in a lighter shade of colour compared to the bookcover)
Next Step.
Apply white glue on the edges and stick the fabric on the hardcover. (I didn't apply on the cover..)
Design the interior pages. And print it out. (remember to test print especially if the paper you choose is expensive.. this one cost $0.90 per piece...)
Completed printing.
If you need to trim the pages to fit into the book, try to leave to first and last page slightly larger than the rest.
Next.. Fold the pages in the middle and sew it. (Remember to get a matching thread. This is the best i can get..)
Stick the interior to the cover. (Too much glue will not be nice.. like the one i have. Try to spray it evenly.) And in case if you want a page divider lace, stick in onto the cover before you add in the interior pages.
Pasting the final wording. (This cost me $7.90.. so I leave it to the last in case.)
COMPLETED!!
So now... I just need to plan on what i'm going to wear... and some additional touch up on the angbao box.
